• Air Conditioning – 17 point check
• Heat pumps – 20 point check
• Gas and Electric Heating Systems – 16 point check

Inspection Steps*

• See if thermostat is calibrated
• Inspect oil and/or air filters
• Evaluate blower components
• Gauge air flow
• Check all electrical connections
• Check proper system operation
• Confirm quality of installation
• Examine area around equipment
• Check equipment clearances
• Evaluate system overall condition
• Examine condenser and evaporator coils – AC tune-up
• Assess safety controls
• Measure temperatures in supply and return for proper Super-heat – AC tune-up
• Check and monitor refrigerant pressure – AC tune-up
• Examine condensate drains – AC tune-up

Tune-up Steps*

• Check capacitors if within requirements
• Assess volts and amps
• Lubricate all moving parts if not sealed
• Clean condensate drain if accessible
• In-place light cleaning of blower components
• Assess cooling cycle – AC tune-up
• Clean condenser coil – used water only – AC tune-up
• Tighten electrical connections
